H David Meyers to meet with Governor in DR Congo  -- AgriSmart Chairman, H. David Meyers (bio), has been invited to the Democratic Republic of the Congo by Governor Gentiny Ngobila Mbaka of the Mai-Ndombe Province. The invitation includes Walt Warme (bio), AgriSmart Principal and Meyers' right-hand man. The meeting is to discuss the possibility of beginning a public-private partnership between the sustainable agriculture collaborative and Congolese government.   AgriSmart Meyers, Omwenga, and Warme met with Governor Mbaka and his translators in the DC metro earlier this month. Mbaka was greatly impressed with Meyers' AgriSmart, Inc. presentation and has invited the trio to his Mai-Ndombe Province in the République démocratique du Congo (RDC) [native French], or the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo, DRC, DROC, Congo-Kinshasa, or simply the Congo) to hear more.   AgriSmart is gaining popularity with African governments from their flowering public-private partnership with the Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) government of a forty year lands lease of 1.2 million acres. AgriSmart is furthering the Côte d'Ivoire government's reforestation initiatives with the production of palm oil using sustainable business practices that achieve the country's current needs without compromising the needs of future generations.
