Society of the Cincinnati

The Society of the Cincinnati was founded in 1783 by Officers of the Continental Army and their French counterparts who served in the American Revolution. The Society's mission is to promote knowledge and appreciation of the achievement of American independence and to foster fellowship among its members (read more about the Society of the Cincinnati.. web | Wikipedia).    

Anderson House

The Larz Anderson House, or Anderson House, is located on Embassy Row in the historic Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. (read more about Dupont Circle.. Destination DC | Google search) Anderson House has remained one of the district's most fashionable mansions since erection in 1905. The historic mansion has been the headquarters of the Society of the Cincinnati since 1938. Anderson House is considered today to be one of the most prestigious venues in all the city (read more about the Anderson House.. web | Facebook).
